Description
From an original drawing by Lee Wilde. Atmospheric Charcoal Portrait – Layana whispers with complexity. Through layered strokes of graphite and charcoal, Layana appears both grounded and elusive—her posture fluid, her gaze somewhere between memory and anticipation.
Through careful layering, the mixture of graphite and charcoal has been polished into the tooth of the paper, lending a soft luster to the surface. This tactile technique creates a gentle shimmer across Layana’s form, enhancing the portrait’s sense of quiet depth and giving the piece an almost cinematic glow—like memory surfacing through shadow.
